The UNI-T UT58D is a rugged 2000-count handheld digital multimeter designed for comprehensive electrical troubleshooting. Housed in a protective case with an ex-large LCD, the meter combines clear visual feedback with a straightforward rotary switch layout so users can quickly select measurement functions. Its electronics core uses large-scale integrated circuits and a dual A/D converter to deliver stable readings across many test modes.

UT58D supports a broad set of measurements AC/DC voltage and current, resistance, capacitance, inductance, transistor hFE, diode and continuity all accessible through dedicated ranges and sockets. Practical controls such as data-hold, a continuity buzzer (audible below ~70 Ω), and a sleep/auto-power-off mode make it convenient for field and bench work while preserving battery life.
