The P8039AHL is an HMOS II-based microcontroller from Intel’s MCS®-48 family, designed as a self-sufficient, single-chip 8-bit parallel computer. It integrates a CPU, RAM, timer/counter, and I/O control on a single silicon die, leveraging Intel’s advanced N-channel silicon gate process. Unlike ROM-embedded variants, it omits internal program memory, relying solely on external storage for flexibility in system design.
